In addition to ploughing through Morning Star (the third in the Red Rising books by Pierce Brown), I'm also working my way through a pile of Netgalley books at present - some of which I'm hugely excited to get started on!
My Netgalley 'To-Read' List
1) Why Mummy Drinks - Gill Sims.
With a title like this, I couldn't resist requesting it... and I'm so glad I'll get the chance to have a read. Exhaustion and motherhood... now there are two things I can relate to straight away!
2) Why We Sleep - Matthew Walker.
I've struggled with chronic insomnia for years now, so this book really appeals. I'm hoping it may even throw some light on my personal experiences, and maybe even help me sleep better... I live in hope!
3) The House of Impossible Beauties - Joseph Cassara.
This one was a bit of a wild-card. I was intrigued by the title, and basically requested it on the strength of that. I'll let you know how it goes!
4) The Water Cure - Sophie Mackintosh.
I had total cover-love over this one, so requested it. The description on Netgalley doesn't give much away, so here's to hoping it's as good as that artwork.
5) Beartown - Fredrik Backman.
This was one of those books that I kept on hearing about on Goodreads, so I was delighted to be approved for an ARC. It sounds rather eerie / suspenseful, so I'm looking forward to it.
6) The Magician's Lie - Greer Macallister.
Again, a bit of 'title-love' going on here - anything to do with magic is a winner with me. I'm excited to see if this lives up to my expectations!
